At Healthy Heart Veterinary Clinic, we take the time to provide our clients high quality services personalized for their pets' unique needs. It is our hope for every client to walk away feeling satisfied that their furry family member received the utmost care and all concerns were addressed properly. The clinic is open Monday thru Saturday with limited availability of our mobile service.
We try to see all of our own emergencies but ask that CAVES ( Capital Area Veterinary Emergency ) is your go to with emergencies.

Annual physicals are designed to keep your pet up to date on vaccinations for their individual needs and to touch base with any concerns (diet, behavioral, dental issues, lumps, etc.) that you may have. Older pets may need visits more frequently to address developing medical issues. It is our desire to provide the care needed to all our patients for a long and healthy life!
Surgery:
We offer minor routine surgeries, including spays & neuters, growth removals, and laceration repairs, which are performed using the safest anesthetics. Vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. We also offer, at a reasonable cost, bloodwork prior to any procedure so we will have a baseline of your pets overall health.
Dentistry:
Good oral care is vital to your pet's overall health. Even a minor oral issue can lead to a more significant issue in the future. Your pet could have soreness in his/her mouth that can lead to weight loss, infection and/or behavorial issues.

Meet "Pippy". She is a sweet six year old girl. Her concerned owner was not able to get "Pippy" slimmed down on her own, so Dr. Joann had taken her into the clinic full time to do so in a monitored situation and get the weight off in a healthy manner. Her starting weight was almost 34lbs. We are so thrilled that she is down to a manageable weight and she is back at home with mom. We do miss her and wish her the best of luck! Great Job Pippy!!
